Leo Haber Leo Haber (born Manhattan) is an American writer based in New York. Haber studied at City College, Columbia University〔Haber ''The Red Heifer'' 2005 back cover "Leo Haber, consulting editor at the monthly journal Midstream, was born and raised on the Lower East Side of Manhattan and educated in New York City at City College, Columbia University, and Herzliah Hebrew Teachers' Institute."〕 and is adjunct professor of Hebrew language at Hebrew Union College, New York.
